A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. • Functional. Remember your preferences (language, region, dark mode, recently viewed) so the experience feels familiar across visits. No personal profile is built.
• Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use HeyHomie — which pages are popular, where people get stuck — so we can make the product better. Aggregated, never sold.
• Marketing. Used by us and our advertising partners (Meta, Google) to show you relevant ads on other sites and to measure campaign performance. You can opt out without losing any features.

The table below lists every cookie we — or our trusted partners — may set, what it is for and how long it lasts.

When you first arrive, our banner asks whether you want to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise per category. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off because the site will not function without them.

You can change your decision any time:

• Open Cookie Settings in the footer of any page.
• Clear cookies from your browser to be re-prompted.
• Most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely — see your browser's privacy settings.

HeyHomie is operated by Homepreneur Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) in how it asks for and records cookie consent:

• Free and specific. Optional cookies are off by default; nothing non-essential is loaded until you opt in.
• Informed. Each category includes a plain-language description of what it does and which third parties are involved.
• Unambiguous. Consent is given by an affirmative click. We do not treat continued browsing as consent.
• Easy to withdraw. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it — the same toggles, accessible from every page.
• Recorded. Every choice generates a pseudonymous consent receipt with a timestamp and policy version, so we can demonstrate when and how consent was obtained.
• No dark patterns.“Accept”, “Reject” and “Customize” carry equal visual weight.

You may also exercise rights described in our Privacy Policy, including the right to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to nominate someone to act on your behalf.
